VINTAGE RING ON ROD
Germany
Wonderfully made of wood with wood-turned red painted balls. One black end ball comes off and one red ball comes apart. 12" long, a great piece of early apparatus that exchanges the ball for a borrowed ring on the rod!
You get two wood-turned red balls, one is gimmicked. One is put into your pocket unknown to the audience. The gimmicked ball is on the rod, clearly shown solid as it's spun around the rod, locked by two wooden balls on each end of the rod. A ring is borrowed as you cover the ball on the rod with a hanky (none supplied). You reach up under the hanky with the ring and instantly you pull the silk away and the ring is now on the rod. The ball is taken from your pocket. A transposition has taken place! You remove one black ball and slide the ring off the rod.
You get a nice ring with diamond with this, but you should buy some cheap wedding bands and try to pick someone with a ring that matches your concealed ring.
